Living Truth
This informs our personal transformation.
Jesus said in John 8:32, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Personal transformation from the enslaving power of sinful patterns in life begins when we trust the truth and principles found in God’s Word, walk in obedience to Him, and yield to the work of the Holy Spirit.
Changing Lives
This informs our community transformation.
Acts 2:42 tells us, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Sharing life in community with God and others is integral to one’s own personal growth in Christ. As we continue to grow together through the study of God’s Word, we will not only understand God’s greater plan for life, but through knowledge and experience we can help bring life transformation to the larger community outside the walls of the church. Therefore, we will not neglect the assembling of ourselves together. (Hebrews 10:25)
Loving God
This informs our reason for transformation.
The expression of our love for God and others is seen through serving. This is the reason for our transformation. Serving will enable us to contribute our God given talents and gifts in order to help influence and shape the lives of those around us for God’s glory. The scripture declares in Ephesians 2:10, that we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. We can all make a difference in the lives of other people when we express our love for God through serving.
