Pastor Gary & Rev. Doreen Comis
Gary Comis serves as Senior Pastor of Faith Community Church. He brings to the ministry years of experience having served as worship leader, executive administrator, and staff minister. He has dedicated his life in helping to build a community of faith, where Living Truth, Changing Lives, and Loving God become our primary passion and pursuit.
Known for his dynamic teaching gift, Pastor Gary endeavors to see lives transformed through the teaching of God’s Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit, as he leads the congregation of Faith Community Church to reach this generation for Christ. He is a graduate of Advanced Christian Training School in New Jersey, received a degree in Christian Ministries from The Kings College and Seminary in Los Angeles, CA, and received a Master of Divinity degree from The Kings University in Los Angeles, CA.
Pastor Gary, with his wife Doreen, are the parents of three grown children, who along with their spouses love and serve the Lord together in the ministry. They are the proud grandparents of six beautiful grandchildren who fill their lives with unspeakable joy.

Rev. Doreen is Executive Vice-President of Ministries and Director of Empowerment Women’s Ministry here at Faith Community Church. She is a graduate of Advanced Christian Training School in New Jersey and holds an Associate Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she majored in Fine Arts. Known affectionately by our church family as “Rev. Dor,” our First Lady serves alongside her husband in helping to create a loving church atmosphere.
As a gifted bible teacher, Rev. Doreen has taught in churches, bible schools, and women’s conferences delivering God’s Word with passion. She knows firsthand the transformative power of Christ made available to all those who put their faith and trust in Him and His Word. As a successful woman, wife, mother, and grandmother she understands the need to balance family life and ministry. Her desire is to make disciples for Christ, while working together with her husband, as he leads Faith Community Church into the future.
